I WALK UP THE STAIRS, STAND IN FRONT OF THE ENTRANCE TO THE ROOM, BOW FROM THE WAIST, WALK INTO THE ROOM, LIGHT THE CANDLE, LIGHT THE INCENSE, BOW AGAIN, TURN TO THE CUSHION AND BOW AGAIN, TAKE MY PLACE ON THE CUSHION, RING THE BELL THREE TIMES, TAKING A DEEP BREATH, EXHALING, SETTLING MY EYES ON THE WALL,
"MU"

IN FRONT OF THE GATE,
STILL CANNOT FIND THE HANDLE.
HALF LOTUS AGAIN.

BOWS,

Who would have thought it more difficult to walk through a gateless gate than a locked one.

Too simple for a mind. Just right for a heart.
